Percussionist
As a percussionist Maria Rullestad Teigen has experience across multiple musical genres. As both an ensemble player and soloist she has performed opera, ballet, big band, musical theatre, contemporary, classical, pop, rock and jazz. Teigen also has experience dancing and singing, and combining this with percussion. This gives her a unique musical pallet to draw from as a performer.
Singer-songwriter
Maria Rullestad Teigen has a long career as a singer-songwriter, competing in the MGPjr final in 2010 with her original song På grunn av deg at age 14. Since then Teigen has written many songs such as Ignoring The Rain, An Angel Without Wings, MAMA and Snøfnugg, and regularly performed as a singer-songwriter at larger and smaller venues in Norway.
